  1. How can one not love Guston? That's a great online resource for his "Poor Richard" series. And the crossword puzzle piece, Yeah! That's great. I'll never look at one the same way. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the others. For example, "It's Raining", I find it hard to get past the formal level. Same too with Harldo de Campos. The reading takes a back seat, or becomes obstructed enough to burden me not to read into it further. The subject of the poems with how they are made, create the overall content; but I'm not sure I have gotten that far yet. "Wave / Rock" is growing on me, but for some reason I keep reading 1970s. Hmmm..that one's got me thinking. Must be more than the obvious here.

  2. 1970s is probably correct. Is it bad or good if the piece is defined by date?

  3. Well, it's bad if I can't get passed the 1970s; yet, good if that's what it's all about. Although, I doubt that's what's happening there. Maybe I'm trying to read too much into it. Off the bat, it's funny, clever, and open enough for me to ponder about. I give it a thumbs-up.
